Teachers and Advisors Newsletter

March 2025

Dear Teachers and Advisors,

Wishing you a continued wonderful start to the new term. We’re sharing with you opportunities from across the University and St Anne’s College.

St Anne’s College Supercurricular Club

St Anne’s Supercurricular Club is our series of online academic taster sessions aimed at Year 12 students who want to broaden their academic interests and gain insight into University-level research and undergraduate-style teaching.

Sessions run each year from March to May to allow Year 12s to gain insight into their proposed study area, ahead of when Year 12s start to put together their personal statement. Use as a springboard for further reading and engagement with your subject.

Each taster session will be one hour long and will introduce students to our researchers’ work, and what this subject area might be like to study at Undergraduate level. Open to Y12 students who would like to get a taste of their subject at this level and learn from an Oxford University academic!

All our 2025 sessions will be held online, 16:00-17:00, from 20 March to 22nd May 2025.

Sessions will be recorded and released online in September 2025.

To sign up please follow this link.

Please see below for upcoming Oxford University events and opportunities for your students. Further opportunities can also be found on the University's Outreach Calendar:

We are also taking bookings for visits this term- if you would like to arrange a visit to Oxford, or for the team to present in your school (online or in person), please get in contact.
